Promoter Track Records

← Back to the free tools. This research page is kept separate from the scam checker. It summarises public records and attributed third-party research; it is not part of any Rug Score.

Public figures whose crypto promotions are documented by on-chain researchers, regulators or courts, ordered by our Record Score, which summarises how much documented public record exists (not a finding of wrongdoing). Every claim below is attributed to its source. UNVERIFIED marks anything we could not independently confirm.

Allegations are not findings. Unless a regulator or court made a finding, the items below are claims made by the cited source. SEC settlements were reached without admitting or denying the findings. Pending lawsuits are allegations only.

Pump.fun caller. Bubblemaps alleges (Oct 9, 2026) that wallets it links to him bought tokens before his 49 callouts and began selling about 3 minutes after, on average, for an estimated ~$125k in profit. crypto.news (Oct 11, 2026) notes that the wallet links have not been independently verified and that there is no enforcement action. Our data: 16 of his called tokens (sampled from the 23 contract addresses Bubblemaps published) fell 89.3% on average from their peak to their low within 7 days (range 83.7–98.2%). Source: GeckoTerminal hourly prices. This is a sample, not all 49 calls.

Bubblemaps alleged (Aug 2024) that he launched celebrity-themed tokens, held 25–40% of their supply, and sold as the celebrities' promotional tweets went live. ZachXBT disputed Bubblemaps' $30M estimate: he identified the main wallet Bubblemaps used as an exchange (Poloniex) wallet and put the figure at about $2–3M. Several celebrities publicly accused him; he denied at least one claim (The Block, June 4, 2024). JENNER went from about a $43M peak market cap to about $5M (≈−88%), per The Block.

    Haliey Welch

    30.5

  9. 9

    Ian Balina

    12

In 2024 a court granted the SEC partial summary judgment on an unregistered-offering claim over SPRK tokens (SEC). The SEC later dismissed the case with prejudice (2025), stating the dismissal was not based on the merits. The SEC's claim that he did not disclose payment for promoting SPRK was never decided. 10. 10

How the Record Score works (0–100, higher = more documented public record)
  • On-chain evidence (35): a credible on-chain analyst (e.g. Bubblemaps, ZachXBT) publicly links the promoter's wallets to buying before and selling around their own promotions.
  • Regulator or court (25): 25 for a regulator or court finding, or a settled order; 15 for being a named defendant in a pending case; 10 if charged and later dismissed with no ruling on the merits.
  • Undisclosed paid promotion (15): scored only when a regulator found or recorded that a payment was not disclosed.
  • Drawdown (15): the average fall from peak to low within 7 days of the promotion × 0.15. We use our own price data where available; otherwise the figure reported by the cited source.
  • Scale (10): documented promoted tokens: 1 → 2, 2–9 → 5, 10+ → 10.

A score summarises the public record. It is not a finding of wrongdoing, and a price drop does not show that a promotion caused it.
